Leaving Bachsten Bush Camp just before 9 am we carefully retraced our steps.

En route we came across a quoll running along the road in front of us. However once I got out of the car, it took refuge in the roadside grasses. Further along we came across an emu. She had two very small chicks scampering along behind her. We only hope they mothered up again once we had gone.

Brandt wanted to video me driving up this jump up. (it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but take note that he got me to film him taking on the worst jump up of the track).
We noticed Jamieson Arch, a landmark we missed on the way out.

wild cattle grazing contentedly on the side of the track.

We drove in to Mt Elizabeth Station at about 5:15 feeling ready for a good night sleep on a non "bouncy castle" type bed!
