Bachsten Bush Camp

In the morning we walked to the Bachsten Creek Falls. The walk took us past a swimming hole,

across the creek via stepping stones,

along a stony path,

until we reached the gorge and the falls. We were told they were like the Mitchell Falls. I can see the similarity. The rock formations are absolutely stunning.

Brandt, being more adventurous (and agile) than me, walked further downstream to see if he could get a better and uninterrupted view of the falls.

In the afternoon we took a walk to the honeycomb caves aka the lost city

Once again we were treated to amazing rock formations and colour.
