The Towing Beast

Would you believe it, Brandt made a purchase over the Internet. Trouble was, he was in NZ and the vehicle was in Brisbane. To cut a long story short we found him some cheap flights and sent him to Brisbane for the day to complete the paperwork. So we are now the proud owners of a 4wheel drive that is set up for towing our off-road caravan.

The four metal cylinders on the right are fishing rod holders. According to Brandt, a good reason to get a tinny! Lorraine disagrees. Watch this space!

First major purchase

Having looked at caravans, caravans, and more caravans, we attended the Brisbane Caravan Show for the second time in June 2011 and made the commitment to purchase a Montana van with delivery date of February 2012.

How it all began

You may or may not know that Lorraine worked for 3 years in the Australian outback and had often said that she'd like to take Brandt there for a visit. A few years ago he suggested that we go right round Australia, to which he received an instant reply of yes!
So this trip has been what seems like an eternity in the planning.
